Our Program

A home, and a hand for the road ahead.

Housing is the foundation — but reentry takes more than a key. Our program surrounds each resident with the practical, emotional, and spiritual support that makes a fresh start stick.

Who We Serve

Seniors coming home after incarceration.

Older adults are the fastest-growing population behind bars, and they face the hardest road home: decades away from family, no work history to lean on, health challenges, and doors that close when a background check comes back.

Naomi's Outreach serves seniors who are leaving incarceration and need a safe, supportive place to land — whether they're referred by a chaplain, a case manager, a family member, or they reach out themselves.

Safe Housing

Life inside the home.

Our residence is a real home, not an institution. Residents share meals, responsibilities, and community — with the privacy and respect every adult deserves.

A furnished room of your own

Every resident has a clean, comfortable bedroom — a door that closes, a bed that's theirs, and space to make their own.

Shared meals & common life

The table is the heart of the house. Regular shared meals, house meetings, and fellowship build the trust that healing needs.

A safe, structured environment

Clear house guidelines keep the home peaceful and secure for everyone, with staff support and accountability built in.

Reentry Support

The practical work of starting over.

We walk with each resident through the paperwork, appointments, and milestones of rebuilding a life.

  • Government ID, Social Security card & vital documents
  • Benefits enrollment — Social Security, Medicare/Medicaid, SNAP
  • Healthcare connections: primary care, medications & specialists
  • Transportation to appointments and services
  • Budgeting and day-to-day life skills
  • Family reconnection, where welcome and safe
  • Spiritual care, mentorship & fellowship
  • Pathways toward long-term, permanent housing
Referrals

How a referral works.

We keep the process simple and personal — for case managers, chaplains, families, and seniors themselves.

Reach out

Call or email us with the senior's situation, expected release date (if applicable), and any immediate needs.

Conversation & review

We talk with the senior and referring party, review fit with our home and community, and answer every question honestly.

Plan the homecoming

Together we set a move-in date and coordinate transportation, documents, and anything needed for a smooth first day.

Welcome home

A prepared room, a shared meal, and a community ready to receive them. The journey home begins.
